Sometimes I gaze down upon humanity and I see millions and billions of pretty faces struggling to ascend their fleeting, vacuous existence. Trying to promote their singularity over everybody elses’, trying to escape the drab and dull existence that will eventually swallow them whole and devour them into nothingness, lost within the belly of history.
As I pace over the cerulean sky adorned with scintillating jewels of the celestial, I see men with ugly greed and lust in their hearts backstabbing and bickering over the neverending wheel of power that is the source of our Earth’s revolutions. I see a sea of young, nubile women throwing themselves at wealth in hopes of securing a brighter, more prestigious status in the world and yet burning out at the hands of said men faster than the flares of a supernova.
I look around myself and all I see is hatred and bigotry and strife and condescension and lust and how it has to end.
And then I realise my purpose is not to criticise or to condemn but to liberate.
And Jesus comes out all a sudden smoking a joint with dreadlocks freshly done up by the Seraphim, patting me on the shoulder and muttering ” Yeah mon, I know how ya’ feel brother. “
